Partnership Models

We have three (3) Partnership Arrangements available

1 Lead Generator

In the Lead Generator model, we share appropriate marketing and sales material for you to take to market to identify opportunities where a solution from DataDevice would be a good fit. From there, you introduce DataDevice as a partner, and DataDevice will follow through the opportunity. Partners are remunerated on conversion of the sale, and the customer belongs to DataDevice (For the product or service delivered by DataDevice only).

This model works for partners who do not have strong software selling and support capability, and for those partners where is does not form part of their core business offering or long term strategy.

2 Reseller

In the Reseller model, partners identify and close opportunities using products and solutions from the DataDevice portfolio. Appropriate marketing and sales support is provided to assist our resellers to develop a business unit dedicated to delivering DataDevice solutions. The relationship between the partner and DataDevice is that DataDevice becomes a supplier, and the customer belongs to you. All products and solutions under the Reseller model have a mandatory support agreement attached for ongoing end-customer support.

This model works for partners who have strong sales and marketing capability in the software and solutions space, but do not have a software supply chain, and delivery/support team.

3 Implementation Partner

In the Implementation Partner model, a partner will complete the sales process with a customer and consult DataDevice to complete the delivery of the solution. Under this model, the partner is responsible for sourcing the software products, completing the solution scoping, and providing DataDevice with a clearly defined delivery objective. This is applicable for both product based solutions, and/or custom developed software and integrations.

This model works for partners who have strong software sales and marketing capability, developed software support and business analytics skills, but require an overly complex or untimely solution to be delivered
